Women's Raga Massive Compilation v.1 is a garland of musical offerings by contemporary womnx/non-binary voices, exploring sounds of the subcontinent and beyond. We are artists, daughters, mothers, sisters, activists and friends, weaving threads of past and present, honoring age-old traditions of Indian classical music, mystical Sufi songs, jazz, folk, spiritual chanting, storytelling and more.

I've been a sucker for In C as a piece of music for a long time, and any re-interpretation is a must-listen to me. Imagine my delight at finding this Indian Classical interpretation, which is beautifully ruminative, meditative, and dynamic in a whole new way. In C was already a revelation; but this takes it into a fully spiritual realm. Must listen. giventofly87
